Internal Auditor

About the role

The hotel seeks a diligent Internal Auditor to ensure that all operations meet the highest standards of efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with management to evaluate controls, mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and tools aligned with hotel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify improvement areas and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Evaluate financial statements, accounting records, and other financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and monitor their progress.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or ICAG is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and governance processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
