Junior Key Account Manager

About the role

As a Junior Key Account Manager at Jumia Ghana, you will drive commercial growth by managing a high‑potential portfolio of marketplace vendors. You will analyse sales trends, maintain content standards and execute pricing strategies using Jumia’s automated tools.

Key responsibilities

• Closely manage and nurture a portfolio of marketplace vendors to maximise sales and growth.
• Analyse sales data, market trends and inventory levels to identify assortment gaps and set competitive pricing.
• Track and optimise key metrics such as GMV, inventory, fulfillment rates and overall revenue.
• Mobilise vendor participation in major campaigns like Ghana Shopping Festival, Black Friday and Jumia Anniversary.
• Leverage automated workflows, self‑service portals and standardised communications for high‑volume account operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field with exposure to e‑commerce or sales.
• Strong numerical agility to analyse performance data and interpret market pricing.
• Understanding of online retail operations, vendor management and product catalog standards.
• Comfort using automated platforms, seller centres and communication tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage sellers and drive campaign participation.
