Solution Sales Consultant

About the role

The Solution Sales Consultant will drive sales of advanced automation solutions, acting as a technical resource for clients and expanding the company’s profitable customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by contacting existing and prospective customers via phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Identify technology opportunities that give the company a competitive advantage.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge to support clients effectively.
• Build strong relationships with clients and coordinate with marketing to launch product campaigns.
• Perform day‑to‑day sales administration, including arranging product demonstrations, presentations, training or trial installations.
• Visit prospects to present new solutions, pricing and availability, and secure or renew orders and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to meet customer needs and achieve vendor targets.
• Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration, Humanities or Social Sciences.
• At least four years of relevant sales or technical experience.
• Ability to understand regional business dynamics and competitor solutions.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and willingness to gather and act on client feedback.

Required skills

• Knowledge of industrial automation and control technologies.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Ability to develop sales and business plans for a defined territory.
