Maintenance Manager

About the role

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy at its Accra bottling plant. You will be responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production and business objectives through effective maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all plant maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective activities.
• Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive equipment reliability and uptime.
• Manage maintenance planning, spare‑parts inventory, vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with Coca‑Cola engineering standards, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate daily with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (maintenance/reliability certification is a plus).
• 10–15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with at least 6 years in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
• Proven track record implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and using CMMS tools.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment such as electrical systems, refrigeration, and compressors, as well as safety and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
