Manager, Asset & Portfolio Management

About the role

The Manager, Asset & Portfolio Management will lead the investment strategy and day‑to‑day oversight of assigned mutual funds. This role is responsible for constructing diversified portfolios, monitoring performance and risk, and supporting fund growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and mandates.
• Make investment and disinvestment decisions within approved limits and delegated authority.
• Construct, maintain and rebalance diversified portfolios, monitoring asset allocation, liquidity, concentration and risk exposures.
• Track portfolio performance against benchmarks, conduct performance attribution and manage identified risks.
• Support business development by collaborating with sales teams to attract new investors and enhance fund offerings.
• Ensure accurate execution of investment transactions, compliance with regulations and internal policies, and assist with fund valuations and reporting.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, investment committees and client‑facing teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mutual fund or asset‑management environments.
• Strong understanding of investment policies, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse market conditions, identify opportunities and make timely investment decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management and interacting with sales and client teams.
