Manual QA Tester

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure our software applications meet high quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will execute test cases, document defects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and scenarios to verify functionality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to define testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, checklists, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs using clear steps and expected results.
• Retest resolved defects and conduct regression testing after updates.
• Test web applications across browsers, devices, and environments as required.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
• Participate in release testing, quality validation, and user acceptance testing when needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of manual testing and QA principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple testing activities and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with TestRail.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
