Solutions Architect & Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior Solutions Architect and Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, integration and delivery of Telecel Cash technology solutions. You will guide a high‑performing software engineering team to build secure, scalable and highly available platforms that support our digital payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall architecture for Telecel Cash platforms, ensuring security, scalability and resilience.
• Develop architecture standards, review solution designs and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Lead and mentor software engineering teams, establishing coding standards, best practices and technical excellence.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery from design through production go‑live, including integration with banks, payment partners, merchants and third‑party platforms.
• Implement architecture governance, ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, and drive DevSecOps, CI/CD and containerization practices.
• Manage technical debt, improve engineering processes and platform performance.
• Provide technical leadership during major production incidents and work with Operations to enhance availability and reliability.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and technology partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5–8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years leading engineering teams.
• Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale payment or fintech solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns and distributed systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
