Part Time Financial Consultant – Professional Services

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Financial Consultant to support our professional services team. The consultant will manage accounting, reporting, payroll and budgeting tasks while providing strategic financial advice during weekly review meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, transactions and bookkeeping.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Process staff salary payments and manage payroll timelines.
• Handle invoicing, accounts payable/receivable and reconcile financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Monitor cash flow, identify cost‑saving opportunities and report performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as required.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting, finance or financial consulting.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, payroll processing and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and attend weekly meetings.
