About the role
The University of Cape Coast is seeking a results‑driven Printing Press Manager to lead its university printing operations. This full‑time, four‑year fixed‑term position oversees all aspects of print production, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality printed materials for academic and administrative needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage print production schedules to meet university deadlines.
- Inspect raw materials, finished products and equipment to identify defects or malfunctions.
- Calculate labour and equipment requirements using standard formulas and production specifications.
- Supervise staff, production processes and quality‑assurance activities.
- Plan and establish production sequences to achieve target outputs.
- Perform regular maintenance of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Publishing Studies or a related field.
- M.Phil in Publishing Studies.
- Minimum of four (4) years post‑qualification experience in the printing or publishing industry.
