About the role
The Business Consultant will actively promote and sell Scania’s range of products and services—including new and used vehicles, contracted services, financial solutions, fleet management, and spare parts—to customers within an assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving personal sales targets, developing new business, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts and develop a structured contact plan to communicate product launches and sales campaigns.
- Prospect new customers through referrals, trade shows, and targeted outreach.
- Clarify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and guide customers through the purchase process.
- Create sales opportunities by identifying potential leads and following up on referrals.
- Present product configurations, explain benefits, and close sales under standard terms.
- Record all activities and follow‑up actions in the CRM system.
Required profile
- Solid knowledge of Scania’s product portfolio and market dynamics.
- Good general education with proven sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle solution‑sale deals and work independently.
