Tax & Compliance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Tax & Compliance Supervisor to manage Ghanaian tax filings, support tax audits, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws. The role involves overseeing VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, PAYE, and transfer pricing obligations while maintaining accurate tax records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, PAYE).
• Support tax audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and required financial information.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare annual Transfer Pricing returns and maintain documentation for related‑party transactions.
• Review payment vouchers before audit to ensure tax law compliance.
• Conduct periodic internal tax risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain organized tax records and supporting documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
• Perform other tax and finance‑related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a recognized institution and Chartered Tax Practitioner qualification (MCITG).
• At least 5 years of proven experience or exposure to tax audit operations.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and PAYE.
• Understanding of Transfer Pricing requirements and related‑party transactions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
