Tax & Compliance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Tax & Compliance Supervisor to lead our tax function in Ghana. The role involves ensuring accurate tax filings, supporting audits, managing transfer pricing compliance, and maintaining robust tax records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, PAYE).
• Support tax audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and financial information.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare annual Transfer Pricing returns and maintain documentation for related‑party transactions.
• Review payment vouchers before audit to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Conduct periodic internal tax risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain organized tax records and supporting documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
• Perform other tax and finance‑related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a recognized institution and Chartered Tax Practitioner qualification (MCITG).
• At least 5 years of proven experience in tax audit operations.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax compliance (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, PAYE) and transfer pricing requirements.
