Accountant – Full‑time – Accra, Ghana

About the role

The company seeks a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Accra. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Process payroll and perform bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and financial performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory filings and internal control procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analyses.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities and financial institutions as required.
• Support management with financial insights and recommendations for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, CIMA) is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction or logistics sectors is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French language skills are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
