About the role
The Agent/Merchant Aggregator Manager will lead the development and execution of the aggregator channel plan for SAO Payment Ltd, identifying and onboarding suitable partners across Accra and the Tema region. This senior role involves extensive travel, partner negotiations, and ensuring compliance with KYC/KYB, AML, and fraud controls.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the aggregator channel plan and identify prospective partners.
- Conduct partner assessment and due diligence against approved criteria.
- Negotiate terms, coordinate contracting, onboarding, training and activation.
- Monitor network targets, commissions, productivity, reconciliations and network quality.
- Lead partner reviews and coordinate operational and POS deployment needs.
- Maintain partner reporting and enforce KYC/KYB, AML, fraud, customer‑protection and brand requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 8+ years relevant experience, including at least 3 years leading people, portfolios or programmes.
- 3+ years managing aggregators or indirect, multi‑tier distribution, preferably in payments, fintech or telecoms.
- Strong negotiation, partner‑management, analytical and commercial‑planning skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of KYC/AML compliance.
- Experience with fraud control mechanisms.
