Application & Software Sales Officer

About the role

Hatton Technologies, a global technology firm offering IT and software solutions such as software development, data and AI, cloud and DevOps, embedded systems and IoT security, is hiring a full-time, on-site Application & Software Sales Officer in Accra. The role covers the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to product demonstrations, proposals and closing, working closely with technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new B2B sales opportunities across industries, identifying companies and decision-makers
• Build the pipeline through LinkedIn, email, phone outreach, referrals, networking and partnerships
• Contact prospects, qualify their needs and conduct product demonstrations of Softra, SiQox, QuickSale and other applications
• Manage opportunities from first contact through proposal, negotiation and close, and support new customers through onboarding
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and customer communications
• Work with marketing on campaigns, promotions, events and lead generation, and share customer and competitor insights with the product team
• Follow up consistently, track the pipeline and report regularly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, HND or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, IT, Computer Science, Management or a related field
• Sales, business development, account management or customer acquisition experience
• Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers and decision-makers
• Ability to learn software quickly and explain it simply

• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Prospecting, follow-up and relationship-building
• CRM systems, email, LinkedIn and online meeting platforms
• Preferred: SaaS, B2B technology, payroll/HR, accounting/ERP, fintech, e-commerce, cold outreach and consultative selling experience
