Asset & Portfolio Management Specialist

About the role

The Asset & Portfolio Management Specialist is responsible for developing and executing investment strategies for mutual funds, ensuring portfolios align with approved objectives and risk parameters. This role works closely with research, finance, compliance, and business development teams to drive fund performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies for assigned mutual funds within approved mandates.
• Make investment and disinvestment decisions within delegated authority and limits.
• Construct and maintain diversified portfolios, monitoring composition, asset allocation, liquidity, concentration, and risk exposures.
• Review and rebalance portfolios based on market conditions, fund objectives, and investment strategy.
• Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks, conduct performance attribution, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage portfolio risks—including market, liquidity, concentration, credit, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks—and take corrective actions.
• Support business development initiatives to increase assets under management and attract new investors.
• Ensure timely execution and proper documentation of investment transactions.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, fund mandates, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to management and investment committees.
