About the role
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the overall food and beverage operations at the Accra Marriott Hotel, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and financial performance while fostering a motivated team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in daily food and beverage operations, ensuring standards of service, quality and financial performance.
- Drive guest satisfaction by responding promptly to guest concerns, handling complaints and building lasting relationships.
- Support employee engagement through coaching, motivation and teamwork, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with corporate accounting procedures and assist the General Manager with annual quality audits.
- Monitor and uphold brand service culture and service expectations for both guests and staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or related areas, OR a two‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest issues effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership qualities, with a proactive and energetic approach.
