Auto Metal Mechanic – Heavy‑Duty Vehicles

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Auto Metal Mechanic to repair and maintain heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment such as trucks, excavators and loaders. The role is based in Takoradi, Western Region, supporting our manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in heavy‑duty vehicles.
- Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
- Maintain accurate repair records.
- Ensure safety standards are followed.
Required profile
- Relevant certificate or apprenticeship in auto mechanics.
- Prior experience as an auto mechanic, preferably with heavy‑duty vehicles.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to work independently.
