Capital Strategy & Investor Relations Lead

About the role

The Capital Strategy & Investor Relations Lead will work directly with the CEO to shape Onyx Technologies Group’s funding strategy. The role focuses on building a pipeline of venture capital, strategic investors, grants and accelerator opportunities across Ghana, Africa and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the investor, funding, grant and accelerator pipeline.
• Research and qualify venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices and development‑finance programmes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors and ecosystem partners.
• Prepare investor presentations, funding proposals, memoranda and data‑room materials.
• Coordinate investor meetings, introductions and ongoing communications.
• Work with Finance on forecasts, runway analysis and due‑diligence preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Practical knowledge of venture capital, startup fundraising or corporate finance.
• Strong financial analysis, research and written communication abilities.
• Confidence engaging with founders, investors and senior executives.
• Understanding of technology, SaaS, cloud, fintech or AI ecosystems is a plus.
