Cash Fraud Analyst – Fraud Management Lead

About the role

The Fraud Management Lead will safeguard Telecel Ghana’s revenue integrity and operational resilience by designing and overseeing a comprehensive fraud prevention framework. You will work across commissions, third‑party integrations, and Mobile Money Interoperability to detect and mitigate emerging fraud threats.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end fraud management operations, ensuring timely detection, response, and mitigation of incidents.
• Implement and maintain controls and systems to prevent fraud in high‑risk areas such as commissions and Mobile Money Interoperability.
• Lead fraud risk assessments for new and existing products, aligning with Security‑by‑Design strategies.
• Identify, coordinate, and execute mitigation measures for emerging fraud schemes.
• Analyze internal and external fraud trends, generate insights, and report findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, regulatory mandates, and lawful disclosure obligations.
• Participate in internal and external fraud‑related forums and collaborate cross‑functionally on risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud management, revenue assurance, or telecom/IT operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with anti‑fraud tools and systems.
• Experience using transaction monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of risk detection platforms.
• Understanding of telecom/IT infrastructure.
