About the role
Join a leading Savings & Loans institution in Ghana that is expanding its operations. The Chief Risks Officer (CRO) will head the Risk function and shape the organisation’s risk strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Risks department and oversee all risk management activities.
- Develop and enforce risk policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the risk team.
- Ensure the risk function delivers strategic impact on the business.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline; postgraduate or professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 12 years of continuous experience in deposit‑taking financial institutions, including credit analysis, portfolio monitoring and credit administration.
- Good working knowledge of IFAS 9, the Prudential Act and other relevant lending regulations.
- Experience in marketing or business development is a plus.
