About the role

Jumia Ghana is seeking a senior leader to design, scale, and drive its supply chain strategy. As the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will provide decisive operational and strategic leadership to ensure seamless fulfillment across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and standardize best‑in‑class fulfillment and supply chain workflows nationwide.
• Recruit, train, and scale robust fulfillment and logistics teams to support rapid growth.
• Oversee localized fleets and third‑party logistics networks, negotiating to optimize costs.
• Own business outcomes by tracking daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPIs.
• Ensure seamless order fulfillment while maintaining agility to resolve operational emergencies.
• Produce executive reports on metrics, targets, and performance variances.
• Manage departmental budgets and execute accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal workflows and foster a high‑engagement work environment.
• Lead end‑to‑end project management for new operational initiatives and strategic assignments.
