Job description
Key responsibilities
- Assist distribution process and track deliveries to distributors (outbound distribution).
- Complete outbound deliveries in SAP.
- Track proof of delivery, returns and outstanding orders and share with LM.
- Support supervision of shipment receipt from port, follow up on reception for GRN, maintain audit‑ready records, track clearance timelines and escalate delays or demurrage risks (inbound).
- Weekly tracking and reporting on stock ageing and stock on hand; support FEFO/FIFO rotation and depletion plans; escalate ageing, short‑dated or at‑risk stock.
- Support stock count activities, reconcile inventory, report variances, damages and unaccounted movements; maintain accurate stock, pallet and capacity records.
- Conduct routine warehouse quality, safety and condition checks; maintain inspection, temperature and pest‑control records; escalate exceptions and support compliance with BAT standards.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports, update performance trackers, participate in review meetings and perform other logistics duties assigned by LM.
Required profile
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control or distribution operations.
- Working knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics processes, stock management and proof‑of‑delivery tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is desirable.
- Strong analytical, record‑keeping and reporting skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to coordinate effectively with third‑party logistics providers, distributors and internal teams.
- Minimum of 2 years post‑national service experience.
- Understanding of warehouse safety, quality, environmental, health and compliance requirements.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, promptly escalate operational risks and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, accountability and commitment to safe and compliant operations.
