CLMRS Field Agent – Child Labour Monitoring

About the role

The CLMRS Field Agent serves as the primary point of contact for households participating in the Child Labour Monitoring and Remediation System (CLMRS). You will build trusted relationships with farming families, raise awareness about child labour and child rights, and support households in transitioning children out of labour.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with households to explain CLMRS, raise awareness, and provide guidance for child protection.
• Visit households and interview adults and children (ages 5‑17) in a child‑sensitive manner to identify cases of child labour or risk.
• Visit farms to detect children in or at risk of child labour.
• Recommend and facilitate additional support services based on the needs of children and families.
• Conduct follow‑up visits every 3‑6 months to monitor progress and assess changing needs.
• Collect and register accurate community‑level data using standard mobile applications.
• Facilitate visits from International Cocoa Initiative staff and other partners.
• Maintain all provided equipment and materials in good condition.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary qualification (e.g., diploma, certificate, or degree).
• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience.

Required skills

• Tablet operation for data collection.
• Proficiency with mobile data‑collection applications.
