About the role
The Cook will work full‑time on‑site at Sai Wine & Champagne Café in Accra, preparing tapas and continental dishes for lunch, dinner and special events. The role focuses on delivering consistent quality, taste and portion control while supporting a smooth guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and plate menu items, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and follow food safety practices.
- Coordinate with the service team to manage order timing during busy periods.
- Assist with inventory checks, proper storage of ingredients and suggest menu improvements.
Required profile
- Professional cooking skills with experience in continental cuisine and tapas‑style dishes.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple orders.
- Effective teamwork and communication with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff.
