Director Strategy and Advisory - Africa

About the role

Based in Accra with a pan‑African mandate, this senior position blends strategy consulting, client advisory, business development and practice building. You will work closely with the African consulting team and the firm’s international leadership to shape and grow the practice across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior executives, investors and institutions on complex strategic and growth challenges across Africa.
• Originate and develop high‑value consulting engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives, investors, DFIs and public‑sector leaders.
• Lead complex, multi‑country strategy and advisory assignments.
• Identify emerging opportunities across African markets and translate them into client engagements.
• Lead and develop high‑performing consulting teams.
• Contribute directly to the growth and positioning of the African practice.

Required profile

• Senior Manager, Director or equivalent from a leading strategy consulting, Big 4 or international advisory firm with a strong track record across African markets and a solid understanding of the Ghanaian business environment.
• First‑class consulting credentials combined with a commercial mindset and proven ability to originate, win and lead high‑value assignments.
• Credibility at C‑suite level and an established senior network across corporates, investors, DFIs and public institutions.
• Exposure to agriculture, agribusiness, food systems, investment or development finance is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is essential; French is a strong advantage.
