About the role

The Distribution Sales Specialist will oversee dealer operations and drive sales growth within the assigned territory. This role combines team leadership, field sales management, and strategic market analysis to support the company’s FMCG distribution network in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage dealers and distributors, controlling customer operations, team performance, and the full spectrum of people, vehicle, finance, and inventory management.
  • Establish and lead a CRM‑focused field sales team, ensuring effective use of CRM tools and conducting regular data analysis.
  • Conduct market visits, store inspections, and competitor assessments to develop actionable strategies and action plans.
  • Address unexpected issues and emergencies promptly, providing solutions to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least one year of FMCG channel development and key account management experience in Ghana.
  • Proven experience managing a team of 3‑5 people in a recognized FMCG company.
  • Graduated from one of Ghana’s top three universities and proficient with computer and office software applications.
  • Willingness to travel short‑term to other regions and work on‑site at client locations when required.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Data analysis capabilities.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
