Driver & Mechanic – Vehicle Operations

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver‑Mechanic to operate company vehicles and ensure their optimal condition. The role involves transporting staff, clients and equipment safely across Accra and Tema while performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles for authorized assignments, adhering to road safety regulations.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of vehicles.
• Perform basic to intermediate mechanical repairs, diagnose faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out routine servicing such as checking engine oil, coolant, brakes, tyres, batteries and belts.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, servicing and repairs.
• Report major mechanical issues that require specialist attention.

Required profile

• Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence for the vehicle category.
• Minimum three years of practical driving experience.
• Technical or vocational qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Engineering.
• Physical fitness and ability to work flexible hours.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.
