Finance Business Advisor – G&A & Corporate Projects

About the role

Tullow is seeking a Finance Business Advisor to support General & Administrative (G&A) and corporate project finance functions within its Group Finance team in Accra, Ghana. This contract position will work closely with the Finance Business Partner and serve as the primary financial liaison for G&A cost‑centre owners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly G&A management reports and support the Management Performance Review process.
• Facilitate bi‑monthly meetings with budget holders to discuss actuals, forecasts, and time‑writing data.
• Collect and validate G&A cost data in SAP and the SAC reporting tool, including month‑end allocations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Support the annual budgeting, re‑forecasting and cash‑flow analysis for G&A, corporate projects and related allocations.
• Assist with audit processes, providing documentation for independent audits, JV partner reviews and tax audits.
• Liaise with external auditors and the remote Accenture team to ensure accurate data postings.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or accounting, preferably within an oil & gas or large‑scale corporate environment.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting for G&A functions.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
