Finance & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Finance & Commercial Manager will lead the finance function for a construction‑focused organization operating in Accra and the Tema region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Department and supervise accounting staff.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor project profitability and produce departmental performance reports.
• Improve financial controls and ensure compliance with Ghana tax regulations.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Implement and enhance Zoho Books and related finance systems.
• Provide financial advice to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Professional qualification such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA or CIMA.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a finance leadership role.
• Experience in construction, engineering or project‑based businesses is highly desirable.
