Finance Officer – Ghana IHP

About the role

Project HOPE is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Ghana Integrated Health Partnership (IHP) activity. Working under the Finance and Grants Manager, you will ensure day‑to‑day financial operations comply with donor regulations and internal policies while contributing to the delivery of maternal, newborn and child health services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting and finance support for the Ghana IHP activity, including processing invoices, vouchers and reimbursements.
• Assist program staff with financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely recording.
• Prepare and submit financial reports in line with donor requirements and Project HOPE procedures.
• Support budget monitoring, variance analysis and financial forecasting for the project.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Entry‑level graduate or equivalent with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and donor compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
