About the role
The Financial Controller will lead the finance function of Vanguard Assurance, ensuring accurate reporting, effective credit management, and robust budgeting processes. This senior position reports directly to senior management and plays a key role in strategic financial planning.
Key responsibilities
- Overall supervision of the finance function, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Preparation of periodic management and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Management of the credit control function, overseeing receivables and credit risk.
- Development of annual and periodic forecasts and budgets.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by senior management.
Required profile
- University degree in Finance or a related field.
- Membership of a professional body such as CIMA, ICA(GH), ACCA, etc.
- At least five years of post‑qualification experience in a senior management capacity.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
- MBA in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
- Strong people‑management and teamwork abilities.
