Food Server – Wine & Champagne Café

About the role

Sai Wine & Champagne Café is hiring a full-time Food Server in the Accra and Tema region. The role covers serving customers, taking orders, handling wine knowledge and managing reservations. Immediate start is preferred, and candidates living in the Osu, Labone, Cantonments, Labadi or Teshie environs are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Open the restaurant and close it according to company requirements.
• Deliver the Sai-trained customer experience at every opportunity.
• Clean all glasses and cutlery.
• Answer questions about food and drinks, tell guests which wines are available by the glass, their country, vintage and grape, and suggest food and wine pairings.
• Take orders to the kitchen and inform them of special requests or dietary requirements.
• Liaise with clients for events and with contractors.
• Prepare tables, serve food promptly and look after customers throughout the meal.
• Promote add-on sales of extra dishes and drinks.
• Manage reservations, issue bills and collect payments.
• Know and execute all drinks on the menu, including the right glass for each.
• Manage stock inventory.

Required profile

• At least two years of solid experience with references, or no experience if willing to work for GHC 800.
• Pay of GHC 1,000 to 1,500 per month for experienced candidates.
