Freelance Independent Auditor (Short-Term Contract)

About the role

Meridean Sport is seeking a qualified freelance auditor to conduct a short‑term, independent review of internal records and controls. The assignment starts immediately and focuses on identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile internal records and documentation.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential control weaknesses.
• Conduct impartial interviews with relevant personnel.
• Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the engagement.
• Prepare a detailed written report with findings, evidence, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in auditing, forensic accounting, investigations, compliance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting or auditing qualifications (e.g., ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and remain neutral.
