Grants and Finance Officer

About the role

Project HOPE is seeking a Grants and Finance Officer to support a US Department of State‑funded Ghana Integrated Health Partnership. The role will be based in Accra and will focus on ensuring prime‑ and sub‑award compliance for a large multi‑partner health program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cradle‑to‑grave compliance guidance for the prime award and all sub‑awards.
• Monitor donor requirements, prepare financial reports and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate with sub‑partners, contracted resource partners and internal teams to resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate grant documentation, budgets and audit trails.
• Support the Finance and Grants Manager in risk assessment and mitigation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for the program.

Required profile

• Experience in donor compliance and grant management, preferably with US government funding.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and audit processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple partners.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local context in Ghana is a plus.
