Head of Debt & Working Capital

About the role

The Head of Debt & Working Capital will lead the Debt and Working Capital franchise within Business Banking, driving growth, profitability and market leadership in Ghana. You will own balance‑sheet and P&L targets while partnering with relationship managers across coverage segments.

Key responsibilities

• Own Debt and Working Capital balance‑sheet and P&L targets.
• Formulate and execute strategy across product lines, pricing (RORWA) and customer propositions.
• Assist relationship managers in originating and executing debt transactions.
• Collaborate with specialist product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Implement pricing policy, lead PRGC process and ensure governance compliance.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date pipeline and convert deals into balance‑sheet growth.
• Drive best‑practice adoption and continuous improvement of credit fulfillment.
• Develop and mentor staff, building capabilities and a collaborative network with credit leadership.

Required profile

• Senior‑level banking professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of debt and working‑capital products, pricing and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage balance‑sheet targets and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent knowledge of governance, compliance and credit policies.
