Head of Fulfillment (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Head of Fulfillment leads Jumia’s core warehousing operations across Inbound, Inventory, Outbound and Aftersales. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, the role ensures end‑to‑end product lifecycle management, operational efficiency and strict SLA compliance to support scalable e‑commerce growth.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of all warehouse units, monitoring KPIs and eliminating bottlenecks.
• Design, implement and audit standardized SOPs to raise operational quality.
• Coordinate with technical teams on Warehouse Management System (WMS) updates and troubleshooting.
• Implement inventory controls to prevent out‑of‑stock situations and reduce shrinkage.
• Oversee financial month‑end processes, cost‑control initiatives and compliance with storage and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or Economics; professional logistics certification is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive leadership in high‑volume e‑commerce fulfillment, FMCG or large‑scale warehouse management.
• Proven experience managing inbound, inventory, outbound processing and reverse logistics.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools.
• Competence with Google Workspace and operational dashboard reporting tools.
