Head Office Accountant (Finance & Data Protection)

About the role

Form Ghana Limited is seeking a qualified Head Office Accountant to manage the financial operations of its Sunyani headquarters and lead its data protection and compliance programme. The role combines statutory reporting, cash management, payroll and the oversight of data privacy requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file statutory payments (WHT, PAYE, VAT, SSF) and manage cash and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the asset register, oversee petty cash, and produce weekly/monthly cash situation updates.
• Process invoices, payments, and permanent payroll, and consolidate payroll for all staff.
• Prepare year‑end financial statements for audit and support the annual operational budget.
• Supervise the HQ Accounts Assistant and manage inter‑company accounts, external loans and salary advances.
• Develop, implement and monitor the company’s Data Protection Programme, including policy drafting, training and compliance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Member of ICAG, ACCA or CIMA and certified Data Protection Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana tax and pension regulations.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to supervise staff.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software and forestry information systems.
• Understanding of data protection laws and compliance frameworks.
