Invoicer / Petty Cashier

About the role

The Invoicer-cum-Petty Cashier is responsible for accurate and timely processing of customer invoices, managing petty‑cash transactions, recording collections and expenses, and maintaining supporting financial records. The role links Sales, Warehouse, Customers and Finance to ensure smooth billing, collections and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices based on approved sales orders, prices, discounts and tax regulations.
• Verify credit limits, process credit/debit notes, and ensure all billing transactions are authorized.
• Respond to customer inquiries on invoices, statements and billing discrepancies; share invoices and reminders via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
• Support the Accounts Receivable team with collections follow‑up, account reconciliations and overdue escalations.
• Prepare periodic reports on invoicing, collections, customer balances and credit‑limit utilization.
• Maintain the company’s petty‑cash fund, ensure proper custody and accurate recording of cash movements.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with at least 12 months experience in invoicing, billing or related finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of credit policies, tax regulations and cash‑handling controls.
