Key Account Manager – Appliances & TV

About the role

The Key Account Manager for Appliances & TV will drive growth, revenue and market share of Jumia’s home appliance and television portfolio. Acting as the primary commercial link, the role manages relationships with top consumer electronics brands, regional distributors and local vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts, top brands and distributors within the Appliance & TV category to build strong, long‑lasting commercial partnerships.
• Develop and implement category‑specific commercial strategies to scale sales volume, maximize revenue and grow market share.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute high‑impact promotional campaigns such as Tech Week, Black Friday and Home Makeover sales.
• Analyze sales data, stock turn and consumer electronics market trends to identify growth opportunities, gap assortments and competitive pricing strategies.
• Monitor and report on core category metrics, including GMV, inventory levels and vendor fulfillment performance.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure exclusive product launches, best‑in‑market pricing and optimal margin contributions.
• Provide proactive business support to key partners, resolving operational bottlenecks and tracking their growth on the platform.
• Stay updated on global and local consumer electronics trends, display technologies, energy‑efficiency standards and competitor positioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts in the appliance and TV category.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial growth strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure exclusive launches and competitive pricing.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and market trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams such as sales, marketing and operations.
