Marketing Manager – International Trade Centre

About the role

The Accra World Trade Centre Limited (AWTCL) seeks a senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of its marketing strategy. This role will drive brand visibility, support international trade initiatives, and manage the centre’s electronic billboard advertising business across Accra and the Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for WTC Accra.
• Plan and coordinate activities across advertising, direct marketing, e‑business, sponsorship and literature.
• Analyse customer research, market conditions and competitor data to adjust the marketing plan.
• Provide policy direction to internal and external stakeholders on marketing matters.
• Manage the electronic billboard advertising business and negotiate commercial deals.
• Liaise with business units, agencies, event managers and promotion executives to promote events and services.
• Prepare monthly financial reports showing spend, commitments and available budget for campaigns.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in international trade, economics or business administration.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in international business development, marketing or consulting.
• Fluency in English; French and other international languages are desirable.
• Proven ability to close business deals and build market position.
• Strong communication, public‑speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and as part of a team.

• Outlook for email and calendar management.
• General IT competence and ability to learn bespoke database systems.
