Micro Finance Field Officer – Rural Banking

About the role
We are a reputable and fast‑growing rural bank in the Bono Region seeking dedicated Micro Finance Field Officers to support our micro‑finance operations. The role involves working closely with the branch manager and local micro‑finance groups to assess, disburse and recover loans. Successful candidates will play a key role in expanding financial inclusion across rural communities. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in loan monitoring and community outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Report to the branch manager
- Assist in training micro‑finance groups
- Assess and recommend loan applications for approval
- Recover approved loans and disburse them to groups
- Prepare monthly loan reports
- Monitor credit and conduct loan recovery activities
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the branch manager
Required profile
- Minimum HND or degree from a recognised university
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
