National Service Personnel – Youth Employment & Skills

About the role

The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) is seeking a National Service Personnel to support its Youth Employment and Skills (YES) programme. The role will involve day‑to‑day programme implementation, event coordination, digital content management and general administrative support in Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desk research on youth employment, education, TVET, skills development and labour‑market trends.
• Prepare reports, presentations, briefs and routine correspondence for the YES team.
• Manage the YES‑PACT portal by creating, organising and disseminating content, and monitoring user engagement.
• Support planning and logistics for events, workshops, stakeholder meetings and wider youth engagement activities.
• Update the YES Team Tracker, monitor deliverables and follow up on action items.
• Assist with knowledge and records management, including documentation of meetings and events.

Required profile

• Minimum undergraduate degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong research, writing and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
