Private Equity Investment Analyst (National Service Placement)

About the role

CardinalStone Capital Advisors (CCA) is offering a National Service placement within its Private Equity Investment team. This hands‑on role is designed for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in deal sourcing, investment thesis development, financial modelling, and portfolio support in a live investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct company and market research to support investment ideas.
• Develop investment theses, perform due diligence, and assist in transaction closing.
• Prepare financial analyses, valuation models, and return projections for prospective and existing investments.
• Draft investment memoranda, committee presentations, and other approval materials.
• Monitor portfolio company performance through financial, operational, and strategic analysis.
• Support value‑creation initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic projects.
• Engage with management teams, advisers, co‑investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Assist senior investment professionals with ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper or higher) in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, completed within the last 1–2 years.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with comfort working with numbers and data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Intellectual curiosity, proactive attitude, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Eligibility for National Service posting in Ghana.
