Private Equity Investment Analyst – National Service Placement

About the role

CardinalStone Capital Advisers (CCA) is offering a National Service placement within its Private Equity Investment team. This hands‑on role gives a recent graduate exposure to deal sourcing, investment thesis development, financial modelling and portfolio support in a live investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end investment process, including company and market research, thesis development, due diligence and transaction closing.
• Conduct financial analyses, build financial models, perform valuations and calculate investment returns for prospective and existing investments.
• Prepare investment memoranda, committee presentations and other approval materials.
• Monitor portfolio company performance through financial, operational and strategic analysis.
• Assist portfolio value‑creation initiatives, operational improvements and strategic project implementation.
• Engage with management teams, advisers, co‑investors, lenders and other transaction stakeholders.
• Support senior investment professionals on ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper) in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, completed within the last 1–2 years.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with comfort working with numbers and data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Eligibility for National Service posting in Ghana.
