Product Senior Specialist – Competitor & Market Intelligence

About the role

FinVolution is seeking a Product Senior Specialist to lead competitor and market intelligence activities across Accra and the Tema region. The role supports headquarters by delivering accurate data, insightful analysis and actionable recommendations that shape product strategy in the fintech and digital lending space.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and maintain a comprehensive competitor database covering pricing, credit limits, tenors, fee structures and product features, ensuring 100 % accuracy.
• Produce monthly competitor trend analysis reports with at least one high‑value insight to guide business decisions.
• Monitor fintech policies, BoG regulations and regional market developments, creating thematic research reports on regulatory and payment‑gateway trends.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align market insights with product road‑maps and commercial implementation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or related field, plus a minimum of three years of product or market research experience in fintech, digital lending or consumer finance.
• Proven ability to design and operate competitor data tracking frameworks and to translate large data sets into strategic insights.
• Familiarity with Ghana’s financial ecosystem, including BoB regulatory rules, CRB systems, payment‑gateway interfaces and KYC workflows.
• Excellent cross‑cultural communication skills for remote collaboration with headquarters and regional teams.
