Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will support the Production Superintendent in delivering safe, cost‑effective offshore operations on the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah in Ghana. This 24‑month fixed‑term role focuses on overseeing production systems, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Production Superintendent in achieving cost‑effective operation and maintenance of the FPSO production systems.
• Supervise, mentor and coach the first‑line production team in daily operations and planned maintenance activities.
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of FPSO process and utility systems, ensuring compliance with company and statutory standards.
• Coordinate production control‑room (CCR) activities, including emergency staffing and shift planning.
• Lead plant shutdowns, fault analysis and troubleshooting, and communicate findings to the maintenance team for corrective action.
• Implement training and competency assessments for control‑room and field operations.
• Manage risk‑identification processes in line with the FPSO safety case.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore production supervision, preferably on FPSO assets.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and statutory requirements in the oil & gas sector.
• Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under operational pressure.
