Professional Driver – Heavy Duty & Passenger Transport

About the role

We are seeking experienced professional drivers to operate heavy‑duty freight trucks and passenger shuttles across key logistics corridors. The role involves safe, compliant transport of cargo or passengers, routine vehicle inspections, and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class F, C, D, or E vehicles for cargo, freight, or passenger services.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections covering engine oil, coolant, brakes, tires, and lighting.
• Identify and resolve minor mechanical or electrical faults while on the road.
• Navigate routes using GPS tools and mobile dispatch applications.
• Secure freight loads and ensure passenger cabin safety.
• Maintain waybills, delivery notes, passenger manifests, and fuel logs.
• Report delays, vehicle issues, or incidents promptly to the Transport Manager.

Required profile

• Valid, unexpired driver’s licence with the appropriate DVLA classification.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3‑5 years.
• 3–5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Defensive driving certification from an accredited body.
• Strong knowledge of national transit laws, axle load limits, and break‑time regulations.
