Professional Driver – School Transport

About the role

Happy Kids School is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused driver to transport students between designated locations in Accra and the Tema region. The role involves daily vehicle operation, adherence to school transport protocols, and ensuring a comfortable journey for children.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the school vehicle safely on assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and school policies.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated stops, maintaining punctuality.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Respond calmly and effectively to any emergency or unexpected situation on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.

Required profile

• Minimum SSSCE/WASSCE qualification.
• 2‑3 years hands‑on driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Strong observational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Willingness to work a flexible roster, six days a week.
• Residence within Kwashieman, Dansoman, Lapaz, Odorkor, Santa Maria or surrounding areas.
