PTP Specialist – Accounts Payable

About the role

The PTP Specialist will manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable processes for DHL Global Forwarding in Accra. You will ensure timely handling of invoices, vendor payments and financial reconciliations while supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and administer AP plans, ensuring invoices are processed from receipt to payment.
• Execute AP activities such as timely vendor payments, expense voucher processing, and maintenance of accurate records.
• Meet service level agreements and internal customer expectations for AP delivery.
• Guide team members in resolving day‑to‑day service issues.
• Analyze and resolve financial accounting problems, including overdue data, billing disputes and data‑quality issues.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of AP results to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with specialist departments, external service providers and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to line managers and junior staff, coaching and reviewing their work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance functions.
